I am sure cold and drizzly was not the weather this couple from England was thinking about when they decided to get married on an Adelaide Beach in January so it was a big surprise when that is what we were faced with. While the rain and breeze did bring some challenges it also gave us lovely soft light and a beautiful, empty beach as far as the eye could see which really just worked to emphasis the intimate affair. Joined by Beck's brother Wes and his partner Narelle, it was clear that this marriage was exactly what Beck and Rob were after and the celebrant Deb Munro was respectful of that as she married them.
Thank you Becky and Rob for choosing me to be your photographer and being so warmly welcome into this intimate event. I hope that these photos serve to share your special day with your friends and family back home in the UK

]]>The day came and it was going to be a scorcher so I was looking forward to an early start down at the beach. My husband volunteered to be my lighting assistant for the shoot and came with me to pick up Eliza from her place. We were so fortunate to have perfect conditions and a gorgeous sunrise as a backdrop to this shoot and we all had an amazing time. Eliza showed off her Yoga skills in her stylish surf-yoga pants from Okiino as I snapped away, trying to make the most of the beautiful colours in the sky.
I shot with my Nikon D750 and either the sigma 24-70mm 2.8 or 70-200mm 2.8 and most of the images were lit with the Jinbei Discovery 600 with a reflective softbox. This was triggered with the Phottix Odin.
It was a small, intimate wedding set in a stunning private garden in the Adelaide Hills nestled in an old quarry.
Lot's of quaint little details such as the butterflies in many forms and the fact that the guests wore blue made everything look really pretty and it was clear from looking at the family and friends gathered on the day that Rebecca and Stuart are both really loved.
Thank you once again for picking me to be you wedding photographer and I hope you look back at these images and they serve to remind you of a wonderful day.
It was a lovely day surrounded by an intimate group of loved ones with much laughter and tears of happiness shared by all who were there.
Belinda looked stunning in her dress from Caleche Bridal , with her makeup beautifully done by her friend Kirra and the gorgeous bouquet by Sinclair Florist of Victor Harbor.
Beau and his groomsmen looked smart in their suits and were perfectly complemented by the three bridesmaids dressed in royal blue and black.
The bridal party travelled in style in luxury cars from Carrington Wedding Cars and had photos taken both on the Middlebrook estate grounds and the scenic Port Willunga beach.
It was definitely a wonderful day and I could clearly see both Beau and Belinda were well loved by their family and friends and I thank you both again for allowing me to be part of your special day.
We then made our way over to the picturesque Harbour Masters Reserve in Port Elliot where the ceremony was held overlooking the ocean and onto Horseshoe bay.
After the ceremony the Bride and Groom got into the grooms treasured Datsun 240z and we went and took some photos around Port Elliot, Bashams Beach and finally the Goolwa Wharf.
From the wharf the Bride and Groom then took their boat to the reception location, The Goolwa Aquatic Club, where they had their friends and family waiting to celebrate with them.
Thank you Adam and Bianca for putting your trust in me to be your wedding photographer and I hope you treasure these images and that they tell the story of your wedding day.
This wasn't a typical family shoot as the family gathered here every year on this particular day to remember a lost family member.
This particular day would have been the family members 30th birthday and the family wanted to do something special to commemorate the occasion so I was invited to capture the'r time together as they played together, put white flowers in the ocean and released a big bunch of white balloons. Thank you Bianca and Paul for letting me spend this time with you and to help preserve some special memories.
]]>I hope you enjoy your photos Katrina, Steve, Bella and Lockie as much as I enjoyed capturing them xx
I was very lucky to be asked by my friend Bec to come and take photos of their Jack Russell puppies before they listed them as 'for sale'. They were an absolute hoot to photograph and I had a great time rolling about the floor with these 2 boys and 2 girls. I am happy to say that they all have found loving homes and I imagine these 4 cuties are all very happy!
]]>We spent a lovely morning at the Old Courthouse on Main road Willunga.
It was fun capturing brother and sister as they played and enjoyed each others company and here's just a few images from that day.
]]>Thank you for letting me into your home Melanie and Nevin and I hope you enjoy your photos!
I was not wrong! What an amazing evening I had with Kezia, Ben and Winston at Largs Bay, South Australia.
Kez and Ben are such a fun and creative couple and are always coming up with clever and original ideas, for example, not knowing the sex of their unborn child he/she has been given the nickname 'Bez' as a joining of their own names!
I feel so privileged that I was able to capture this fleeting moment for them and I am so excited to have been asked to follow up with a newborn session when 'Baby Bez' finally arrives!
It was a wonderful opportunity in which I was able to watch a professional photographer work with the couple and the bridal party.
Sabine was also kind enough to give me permission to share any photos I took on the day so here are a selection I managed to capture in between holding flashes, rounding up family members and barking like a dog!
If you would like to see Sabine's blog of the wedding click her businesses name in the above paragraph.
I was fortunate enough to be chosen to photograph this beautiful baby girl. Her arrival into this world was well anticipated after her parents waited many years to welcome her into their lives and complete their family.
Her Auntie was gracious enough to provide a house for us to meet and have the photo shoot as the parents and myself live on opposite sides of the city. The shoot went so well with Ava sleeping soundly until her feed-time came and like clock-work she was ready for it! But when that was completed she settled back down and the dream newborn shoot continued surrounded by family and friends!
Thank you again Laura and Jason for allowing me to share this precious time with you and Ava.
I hope you enjoy these images now and for the years to come.
